I got a runt from a local back yard breeder, no paper, no nothing, just
GS. She is 9 weeks and white, the breeder’s condition didn’t look great
either but I did saw both parents and the grand-parents. So far she is
turning out to be a gem, of course no guarantee on the hips and shoulders,
so I am going to get a good insurance. I did Puma on impulse and it didn’t
work, then I tried to do it right, the way the books say , and I also
failed on both accounts. It is no one’s fault, but just may be God was
guiding me towards this pup any way. She is probably much better off with
me than with a lot of other possible owners. She is going to have with us
a great and loving family and if even though she will never be the show
type or even the schutzhund type as long as she has the basic GS
personality all will be fine. I will take her to paws and she will be
trained properly, and most of all, we all love her very much. I am
grateful for my experience in the last few months in my search for the
perfect puppy and God willing she was right there next to me waiting all
the time. I am calling her Shadow (even though she is white) because she
is God’s shadow to me and mine as well.
God: He gets involved in every thing we do, from the most important
decisions in our lives, like marriage and birth, to the most insignificant
like choosing a puppy. I do not believe that God cares one way or
the other if I get a puppy. What is important to Him is that I do my
best for the providence at end. And, if my best involves a puppy
then so be it. [AM]
